North America has emerged as a solid market for Telugu films, with audiences eagerly embracing these films. Topping the charts is Baahubali 2, which grossed an incredible $20.77 million, more than any other Indian film. Recent releases such as Kalki 2898 AD and Pushpa 2 have also performed well. Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD grossed $18.57 million in just 27 days, while Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 grossed $15 million in just 27 days. Other notable releases include RRR ($14.33 million), Salaar ($8.92 million) and Baahubali ($8.47 million). NTR’s “Devara” ($6.07 million) and superhero film “Hanuman” ($5.31 million) also secured strong positions. Classic hits like “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo” ($3.63 million), “Rangasthalam” ($3.51 million) and “Bharat Ane Nenu” ($3.41 million) continue to drive the appeal of Telugu cinema overseas. Thanks to this success, North America remains a lucrative market for Tollywood blockbusters.
