The pension distribution program for January is in full swing in AP. Since it is the new year, the distribution program started on December 31st. In fact, the government had announced the dates for the distribution of pensions every month in the past. It said that pensions would be given on the 1st of every month. It also said that those who could not take it on that day can take it the next day. However, since January 1st is a holiday, the government is distributing pensions on the previous day, December 31st, as a New Year gift. Minister Kondapalli Srinivas said that pensions are being granted to 5,402 new people under the spouse category across the state. Apart from this, if there are any women whose husbands have died, they are being provided pension under the spouse category from the month after the death of their husbands. This time, pensions are being distributed to 63,77,943 people. The coalition government has released Rs. 2717 crore for this. Pensions have already been distributed to 80 percent of the people. Officials say that the distribution will be complete by tomorrow. The beneficiaries are expressing happiness as they have received their pensions before the new year. They say that they want the government to act in such a responsible manner.
