Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu made a very meaningful visit to Delhi and got to meet Prime Minister Modi in the national capital. Commenting on the high-level meeting with the Prime Minister, Chandrababu wrote: “I had a fruitful meeting with Prime Minister Shri Modi ji today in New Delhi and discussed important issues pertaining to Andhra Pradesh. I expressed my gratitude for the support in resuming Polavaram and Amaravati projects. I drew the attention of the Honourable Chief Minister about the diversion of funds from 94 flagship projects by the previous government. I also emphasised on the government’s serious efforts to revive these programmes. During the meeting, I highlighted the financial challenges facing the state and the need for support from the central government. I handed him a copy of ‘Swarnandra Vision 2047′ and discussed plans for a visit in January to inaugurate key projects. I look forward to welcoming him back to AP!’
