Xiaomi has launched a unique gadget—the TechLove Eye Humidifier—designed to alleviate dryness and tension often experienced after extended computer use. This device utilizes ultrasonic atomization technology to deliver a spa-like experience in the comfort of your home.
The TechLove Eye Humidifier features a sleek aluminum tube design, accommodating a replaceable 5 ml cartridge filled with eye drops. Upon activation, the device disperses ultra-fine mist particles (measuring just 6 microns in diameter) for six seconds, creating a soothing fog with a reach of 10 cm. Users are advised to hold the humidifier at eye level and avoid blinking during this brief application. The ultrasonic spraying operates at a frequency of 165 kHz, ensuring safety by minimizing the risk of overheating and burns.
The manufacturer assures that the device is safe for shared use, as it does not come into direct contact with the eyes. The eye drops, developed in collaboration with scientists from Southern Medical University in Guangzhou, effectively reduce dryness and irritation by 97% and are hypoallergenic. Each cartridge provides enough solution for 45 applications, and the package includes five cartridges.
TechLove is powered by a 180 mAh battery, offering up to 180 treatments—approximately three months of regular use—on a single charge, which takes just two hours.
Currently, the TechLove Eye Humidifier is available exclusively in China through a crowdfunding campaign. Should the campaign succeed, the product will move into mass production.
